Jessie became a massage therapist in 2013 because she knew two things were certain - she wanted to help people and also work with her hands. She never knew how perfect massage therapy was for her until she began studying the complexity of the human body. For Jessie, it immediately clicked. The body was but a series of systems, all working together in harmony. In order to achieve this harmony, she believes the body must be balanced in all aspects- body, mind and soul.

“Creating balance within the physical aspect of the body, in turn, leads to the ability to create balance mentally and emotionally. When we feel pain, we experience a disruption in all aspects of our wellbeing. The goal is to get past this so we can live our best life.”

Jessie prides herself on the ability to get to the root cause of the problem. Clients are often suprised that she finds the area of concern without any guidance. To her, massage is not just about healing physically. Instead, it’s about thinking of the body as one big puzzle. Her role is to help guide those puzzle pieces back into place through massage, homecare, exercises, and referrals.

Techniques Utilized:

  • Deep tissue massage
  • Pregnancy/Postpartum techniques
  • Myofascial cupping

When Jessie is not at Origin, she’s often busy with her husband and her two young boys. She also makes sure to make time to do the things that fill her soul - creating. Jessie loves anything artsy, from drawing, refinishing furniture, to making fancy cakes. You name it, she’s probably done it. She is always on the hunt for a new project or a new challenge.
